- Rinkven Golf & Country Club
The courses - the Championship Course and the Old Course - are currently undergoing a total transformation, after which they will be called respectively the North and South Course. During the re-routing works, one full-fledged 18-hole course will remain available for members and their guests; the other, temporary 13-hole course is accessible for members, guests and green fee players.
After the re-routing works are completed, both courses will once again offer plenty of challenges like water obstacles, bunkers, dog-legs and small fairways lined with trees. That makes for varied terrain, with golfing pleasure tailored to both the competitive and the recreational player.
Rinkven also offers various practice facilities. The driving range has a large grass practice range and a number of covered and lit hitting stations for players wishing to practice at night. Furthermore, the club has a brand-new short game practice green with a surface area of no less than 1,000 m². This green is equipped with bunkers and surroundings similar to those found in the greens on the course in order to offer the most realistic practice environment possible. A further novelty is the 100-meter long strip, the pitching green. Lastly, two putting greens complete the practice facilities.
Before or after your round you can visit "37th, Tavern Behind The Green" for a drink, a hearty snack, a sandwich or a delicious meal. By 2017 Rinkven will also feature a new, modern-style clubhouse and caddy house. After completion of all re-routing and construction work according to the Master Plan, Rinkven Golf & Country Club will regain its rightful place at the top of the Belgian golf clubs!

Rinkven Golf & Country Club is in Schilde, known as The Pearl of the Voorkempen. This green region east of Antwerp is part of the Kempen and in the Middle Ages was already popular with the wealthy men who dominated Antwerp trade and crafts. They built their country houses in the wooded area of the Voorkempen with its rural tranquillity and beauty.
Nowadays there's pleasant cycling or walking on fine roads along which splendid villas and their beautiful gardens can be admired.
And what about some fashion, art or architecture? Then a trip to art city Antwerp is easily arranged. From Schilde in no time you can be seated on a gorgeous terrace with a fresh "bolleke" in front of you!
