Bossenstein boasts an 18-hole Championship Course and a 9-hole Executive Course. Numerous and large stretches of water are very strategically integrated in the layout of this rather American course, which is a challenge for golfers of all levels.

The fairways may be quite wide, but smart construction means you have to pay attention on every shot. And the view of the majestic moated castle is a free extra!

Bossenstein Castle

In the 13th century the donjon and moated castle was an outpost of the defensive line around Antwerp. Later, in 1346, the first private owner, Johannes De Busco (Bossche in Flemish), gave his name to the estate.

The last major alterations were carried out in 1660 by the mayor of Antwerp, H. Van Halmaele, on the occasion of the joyous entrance of Albrecht and Isabella of Austria. The golf course, built in 1988, was designed so that the castle is constantly the visual focus.
