Fortress of Breendonk

National Memorial of the Fortress of Breendonk, an exceptional and unique site of its kind. A page in World War II history. A camp where many Belgians became victims of the Nazi horror. There were the heroes and the false, the tormentors and their victims. During the visit you will be guided by audioguides, original audio-visual witnesses and films. You will also visit the labour place, the torture room, the execution spot and the prisoners' cells.
