De Wit Royal Manufacturers

Pay a visit to the Royal Manufacturers De Wit which owns one of the most prestigious private collections of tapestries in the world.

They are housed in the fifteenth-century former refuge belonging to the Abbey of Tongerlo in Mechelen. During your one-and-a-half-hour visit, a guide will tell you about the magnificent building, the large collection of antique and modern tapestries and conservation methods. At certain times it is also possible to visit the workshop.
