Royal Ostend Golf Club, situated on the coast in De Haan, is with its 18 holes the only true links course in Belgium.
The site extends along the Belgian coastline, providing, apart from a very challenging and technical course, beautiful views over the sea and dunes. Your golf skills will be put to the test, particularly when the wind picks up over the narrow fairways! Spectacular holes, fast greens and bunkers located at challenging distances will make your round of golf at the Royal Ostend Golf Club a magnificent experience you will not easily forget.
The beautiful white clubhouse is a building typical of the region and is synonymous with prestige and history. You can enjoy a drink in the English bar with sun terrace or a delicious meal in the restaurant overlooking the course. The building is currently being refurbished and expanded, restoring its original appearance down to the smallest details.
The second oldest
The club was founded in 1903 by King Leopold II, and, as the second oldest club, is a monument to Belgian golf. Both the course and the club suffered considerably during the two world wars and both have been renovated on various occasions, always respecting an ecological vision in which the original flora and fauna were protected.
Today, you will find here rare plant species which have disappeared completely from other parts of the coast. For its sustainable ecological policy, the club was recently awarded the prestigious Baillet Latour Prize for the Environment. Golf beside the Gulf of Flanders... Enjoy!

Royal Ostend Golf Club is located on The Coast in De Haan, a residential beach town full of typical Belle Époque buildings: half-timbered white façades, red roofs, little balconies and turrets.
