Ieper Open Golf

9 holes
Westhoek

Ieper (Ypres) Open Golf prioritises golf for all. With a 9 hole course, that is already accessible to players with a 45 handicap, at democratic prices, the club wishes to offer every visitor the opportunity to enjoy the pleasure of golf. Whether you are a beginner or a more experienced player.

This technical course provides sufficient variety and playing pleasure and is perfectly integrated into the surrounding landscape. There are many well-thought-through obstacles, suitable for golfers at any level. Although the course is near Ypres' industrial park, it exudes peace and tranquillity.

The club also provides a lighted practice area with 20 hitting stations. Perfect to refine your swing! Thanks to years of experience with the Ypres Open, no one knows better how to assist beginners in the Golf Academy.

The clubhouse, built entirely of wood, provides all the necessary facilities and atmosphere. At Bistro De Golf (‘The Wave’) you'll enjoy honest food with a good price/quality ratio. Welcome to the cosiest golf club of Flanders!

Visit

Ieper Open Golf is situated in the green region of the Westhoek. As part of the Western Front in World War I, the area was for four years the scene of terrible trench warfare with countless victims. Now, a century later, the First World War is commemorated everywhere, but particularly in the Westhoek.

Every evening at 20:00 there is the moving Last Post Ceremony at the Menin Gate in Ypres, you can discover the personal stories of citizens in the In Flanders Fields Museum, or you can walk through the Dodengang Trench of Death in Diksmuide.
